How to Change Wi-Fi Channels

In some cases, you may want to force the Nokia Gateway to change its Wi-Fi channel to improve device connectivity. You can do this in the Web GUI.

1. Login into the Nokia Gateway
2. Select Network (on the top navigation bar)
3. Go to Wireless 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz (on the left navigation), and then you will see the option to change channel.   
4. Select the desired channel
5. Click on save.
6. If you would like to allow your Nokia Gateway to be able to adjust channels automatically in the future, you can set the Channel drop-down back to "Auto" and click save

Note: We recommend changing the channel to Auto in most cases. If the router stays in manual mode using only one channel, your router may not work as intended. Please consult with technical support for help with configuration.
